Renew Wellbeing at Magheralin Parish

We had the opportunity to represent our Renew space at the parish’s Community Fun Day yesterday. It was lovely to have chats about it with so many people who were enjoying the afternoon together.

If you haven’t been yet, why not call in tomorrow? We are open from 2-4pm each Monday and you would be so welcome! Bring a hobby or a book to read or just come and enjoy coffee and a chat.

The quiet space is always open too for anyone who just wants to take a few moments on their own. And we use it for guided (optional) prayer for a few minutes too.

It truly is a special place - come and see for yourself!

It’s a purple feast for the eyes! Nature is just bursting with colour isn’t it?! Some regulars are already on holiday but others aren’t - and we are always ready to welcome people who haven’t been before and would like to see what we are all about. Come along any time between 2pm and 4pm on Monday. Bring a craft or a hobby or just bring yourself!

‘The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.’

We had a most enjoyable afternoon planting flowers. All the plants, compost and pots were very generously donated by Langtry Lane , a local award-winning garden centre and cafe. We are blessed to have them on our doorstep!

All the usual activities were on offer as well - and of course plenty of chat!
