Unknown to me, body aches are another unwelcome symptom of covid. On Sunday evening, I started to feel immense pain in my legs and ribs. You know the kind of pain after a 20 mile obstacle race?! Except, I haven’t exercised in a week, thanks to being ill with covid!! Got to love a bubble bath 😍 This morning, my boyfriend ran me a hot, very bubbly and incredibly soothing muscle ease bubble bath....

Convinced I had a bad cold, I was fairly shocked when my lateral flow test showed a definite positive. It turned bright red so quickly, I felt it was screaming at me: “You’re positive, you fool!” My positive status was confirmed by a PCR test the following day. Until I tested positive, my main symptom was the loss of my voice, alongside sneezing and occasional coughing (according to my boyfriend, this was frequent coughing!) Obviously, loss of voice is not a covid symptom and is something I suffer from with a bad cold, hence me assuming I was suffering from a cold!!...
