Many people are surprised when I examine the circulation in their feet during an appointment.

Checking the pulses in your feet isnt just part of a routine, it helps assess how well blood is reaching your lower limbs and can identify signs that warrant further investigation.

Reduced circulation can increase the risk of:

Peripheral Arterial disease (PAD)

A huge milestone worth celebrating at A.R. Bird Podiatry! 🎉👣

We are incredibly proud to announce that one of our very own has officially become an HCPC-registered podiatrist.

From starting her career as a podiatry assistant to graduating with a First-Class Honours degree from UEL (University of East London), this achievement represents years of dedication, determination, and passion for podiatry.
What makes this milestone even more remarkable is the commitment shown while balancing the demands of studying, building a career, and raising a family of six children.

The hard work, sacrifices, and perseverance behind this achievement are truly inspiring.
We couldn’t be prouder of everything she has accomplished and the journey that has brought her here. We know she will continue to provide exceptional care and make a real difference to her patients.

💙 A little update from A.R. Bird Podiatry

We’ve recently reviewed our pricing and have decided to make our home-visit appointments a little more affordable.

We know that for many people, regular foot care isn’t simply a luxury – it can be an important part of staying comfortable, mobile and independent.

We want professional podiatry care at home to remain as accessible as we reasonably can, so our new prices are:

👣 Initial Assessment & Treatment – £50
👣 Return Appointment – £45
👣 Joint Appointment – £70
For two patients seen together at the same address.

Our initial appointments still include a comprehensive foot health assessment, relevant medical history, treatment where clinically appropriate and an individual care plan.

There’s no change to the level of care we provide – simply a small change to our pricing, which we hope will make accessing professional foot care at home that little bit easier.

We’re currently welcoming new patients and are always happy to answer any questions before booking. 💙
