After an action‑packed week in sunny Cornwall, Pippa and I were delighted to be back at Great Western Hospital today for a therapy dog visit on the children’s ward 🐾💙
We met so many wonderful children and dedicated staff, sharing smiles, calm moments and a little joy along the way. Pippa was more than happy to receive plenty of gentle pats, and it was lovely to see how differently each child connected with her.
Some children enjoyed teaching Pippa tricks, while others simply relaxed with a quiet stroke — each interaction special in its own way. Days like these are a beautiful reminder of the comfort and happiness therapy dogs can bring.

It has been too hot this past week for therapy dog visits so Pippa has been making the most of her time on holiday having fun in Cornwall and staying cool in the sea! 🌊

After a short Easter break, Pippa and I were delighted to be back at Great Western Hospital today. A special visit to the Woodpecker and Falcon wards reminded us just how powerful a calm, friendly presence can be — sparking conversation, lifting hearts and bringing comfort to patients and staff alike. ❤️

Today Pippa enjoyed a beautiful bluebell walk at wonderful Westonbirt with her family to celebrate her birthday! This is our favourite place to walk and at this time of the year it is simply gorgeous! Highly recommended 😊

Last week Pippa and I had a lovely visit to the Woodpecker, Teal and Linnet wards at Great Western Hospital 🐾💙

As always, Pippa spread so much cheer wherever she went. She has such a gentle way about her and is wonderful at helping patients feel calm and relaxed. It’s always special to see how she can spark conversations and even help older patients recall fond memories just by spending a little time with them.

The staff are always so pleased to see her too – and of course they never miss the chance to give her a well-deserved pat! 🐶✨

We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
