This patient highlighted that the radio seemed to loud.

We have the radio on to try and mitigate the noise from our reception teams on the phone, talking to patients at the desk and to try and protect others from hearing personal information.

It's there to assist confidentiality for all of our patients. If anyone is disturbed by it at any time we can of course reduce the volume or turn it off whilst you are waiting if requested.

You can also wait outside for your appointment if you would prefer. If any of pur patients decide to wait outside, please can you inform reception so the clinicians know where to find you.

Polite notice to patients. When booking your appointment for moles/lesions to be assessed, please can we advise that a maximum of 2 moles/lesions can be assessed and photographed in a single dermatology appointment. If you have further moles/lesions that need to be addressed, please make a further appointment.

Here at Cradley, if your problem is urgent, we’ll always try to see you the same day. We allocate urgent appointments and prioritise care so urgent issues are seen on the day whenever possible.

We believe in showing our patients some of the negative feedback as well as the good. This is feedback from one of our valued patients.

Whilst we appreciate that waiting for your appointment can be very frustrating, we would like you to understand some of the reasons this may be case.

For instance:

▪︎ The clinician you are seeing could be on an emergency phone call.

▪︎ The clinician could still be with the patient if the patient has multiple problems, mental health concerns or a diagnosis that needs careful discussion.

▪︎ Urgent 'squeeze in' appointments- The clinicians are frequently interrupted by emergencies or same day urgent patients.

We believe on a day to day basis that the practice runs smoothly and on time. If you have any issues regarding a potential wait time whilst here at the surgery, please go and speak to reception and we will do our best to resolve.

Not only do they provide care, they listen, follow up when needed and know all of you by name! They are dedicated, passionate and beyond caring for each and every one of our patients.

However, the cost of sending SMS messages is increasing, and as a small practice this has a real impact.
