Yet globally, there are not enough midwives, and many of the ones we do have are not enabled to work to their full scope of practice.

Did you know? In England, the average time to diagnose endometriosis is 9 years 4 months. For ethnically diverse communities it’s around 11 years.
The situation is worsening across the UK.

Autism@Manchester, a network of researchers at the University of Manchester, are developing a Research Involvement Toolkit to help encourage autistic people to take part in research and public involvement activities.
They are currently seeking non-autistic reviewers with lived experience of mild to moderate mental health conditions (such as anxiety or depression) to share their insights and feedback.
As a thank you, participants will receive a £15 voucher for their time.

If you or someone you care about are aged 55–74, are a current or former smoker, and registered with a GP in Altrincham, you could be eligible for a free NHS Lung Health Check.
