Big news from our team! 💙
Our amazing nurse Rowena is heading off on maternity leave to welcome her beautiful baby boy.

Rowena, thank you for all the care, compassion, and sunshine you’ve brought to our patients and to us every day. You do make us all laugh…. 😆
We’re going to miss you so much, but we’re also so excited for this new chapter for you.

Wishing you a smooth delivery, lots of cuddles, and sleepless nights full of love.

Today we say goodbye to an incredible leader. Clinical Nurse Manager Huma is leaving our team Acer, and our hearts are full and a little heavy.

Huma, thank you for the compassion you showed every patient, the strength you gave our team, and the calm, steady leadership you brought every single day. You didn’t just manage Acer’s units — you cared for people, mentored staff, and led with kindness and integrity.

We will miss your guidance, your laugh, and the way you made even the hardest days feel possible.
Wishing you every success in your next chapter.
Good thing is, we will still see Huma at Acer Mews as this is a promotion within Exemplar Health Care 🩵💙💚

🩵💙Supporting Meaningful Moments at Acer Mews.

This picture speaks a million words to myself and will also to Ste’s family💙🩵

Today our service user Ste enjoyed a fantastic 2:1 community outing with our Life Skills Supervisor Chantal and HCA Jen.

Person-led support is at the heart of what we do. By observing and communicating it allows each individual, we help, create opportunities to build confidence, encourage independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences in the community.

Whether it’s a relaxing walk, a favourite café visit, shopping, or simply spending time outdoors, every outing is planned around the person’s choices and promotes wellbeing, inclusion, and quality of life.

It’s always wonderful to see smiles, achievements, and memories being made along the way. 💙

Our coffee shop was a huge success again:
-Local Police officers joined us for community engagement and enjoyed refreshments ✅
- Service users + staff co-produced delicious homemade cakes and cookies ✅
- You Said We Did actions completed ✅
- Service User Meeting ✅
- Family & Friends Meeting ✅

Lots of cake, lots of chat, lots of connection.
