About Me
I’m Ellie, and I discovered homeopathy over twenty years ago when the first of my three children was born. I wanted a healthcare practitioner who would support me in my natural health choices. I then threw myself into learning how I could treat my own children for acute conditions such as teething, earaches, coughs and colds, bumps and bruises, cuts and grazes, etc. It is a truly empowering form of medicine. Of course, for anything more serious we saw our homeopath.
Once my children had grown up, I decided to undertake the four-year professional licentiate course at the North West College of Homeopathy which included a large amount of clinical experience as well as theory, etc.
I have experience working with clients who have autoimmune conditions, sciatica, kidney problems, anxiety, high blood pressure, hormonal issues, to name but a few.
It has been wonderful to work alongside my clients to help them achieve health and balance in all aspects of their lives. It really can be life changing.
What is Homeopathy?
• Homeopathy is the second largest system of medicine in the world used by over 200 million people. It’s recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
• Homeopathy is a holistic form of medicine which uses very small amounts of a substance to trigger a healing response in the body.
• Homeopathic treatment has an excellent safety record. Because homeopathic medicines are non-toxic, they can be used by babies, children and during pregnancy.
• Homeopathy is safe, effective and sustainable. It’s kind to you and kind to the planet.
• You can safely use your homeopathic remedy alongside conventional drugs. It will not interfere with the action of any medicines prescribed by a doctor.
• Homeopathy is included in the national health systems of a number of countries e.g. Brazil, Chile, India, Mexico, Pakistan, Switzerland.
• Homeopathy is regularly used to treat people with ailments such as ear infections in children, IBS, eczema, allergies, coughs, insect bites, menstrual disorders, fertility issues, chronic pain, joint issues, digestive conditions, migraines, circulatory problems, emotional and mental issues, and many more.

What Happens During a Consultation?
• During the first consultation, I will ask lots of questions to build up a complete picture about you. It’s a bit like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I’ll take into account a wide variety of factors that are unique to you. Including your lifestyle, medical history, personality traits, stress triggers and likes and dislikes. I will take the time to understand what is special about you, and how your body and mind express themselves.
• Homeopathy looks at the whole picture. Therefore, patients who have the same diagnosed illness – hay fever, for example – are each likely to need different homeopathic medicines.
• Homeopathic treatments involve a gradual process of change towards better health. However, results can also be quick and you can feel far better in a short period of time.
• I will prescribe your remedy following a consultation. It will be given in tablet, pillule, (a small pill), or liquid form. Homeopathy works in a different way from conventional medicines. Therefore, you must make sure that you understand the instructions before you take your remedy. Often, only one or two doses will be prescribed, followed by a period of waiting to see how you respond.
How much does it cost?
The Initial Consultation lasts between an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes and costs £120. Follow-up sessions cost £60 and last approximately 30-45 minutes. The remedy prescription is included in the price.
The number of consultations you may need will depend on a number of factors including your age, how long you’ve had the symptoms for, and your response to the remedy in your prescription.
