Milton Keynes Urgent Care Centre MKUCS offers assessment and treatment of conditions that you think have an urgent need to be seen. MKUCS offers this service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

MKUCS offers assessment and treatment of conditions that you think have an urgent need to be seen and therefore cannot wait until you can access your own GP. If you are uncertain, please call 111 to avoid making an unnecessary journey. Our service is provided by a Medical Team comprised of healthcare assistants, nurses, nurse prescribers, and local GPs. ovides a weekend service for necessary dressing changes for ambulant patients. Appointments for this clinic are booked through your GP. From October 2015, families in Milton Keynes can now access the Children’s Primary Care Team. This team of specially trained and experienced children’s nurses works with local GPs to offer appointments for children suffering from common illnesses. After being asked about phone charging points, we have reached out, and are working along side “Hospital Phone Chargers”. Which is now based in our waiting room.

***ENGINEERS HAVE BEEN IN AND HAVE MANAGED TO RECTIFY THE ISSUE***

Whilst Urgent Care is still open, please be aware we have no toilet facilities in operation in the building. Engineers are working hard to rectify the issue.
Please be mindful of this if you are considering coming to Urgent Care at the moment.
If your needs are urgent and cannot wait until your GP is open please contact 111 or in an emergency go to A & E.
We will update on here when the issue is resolved. Apologies for any inconvenience.

16/02/25 Please note that we are very busy in the department today with 60+ patients waiting to be seen - we are all working extremely hard but we currently have a 6hrs + wait. Please be prepared to wait if you do attend. Cases will be seen in priority so please do come down if you need medical advice.
