After a long beautiful summer, we will be back on Thurs 24 Sept 7-8pm in Wychwood Library!

Look forward to seeing everyone for a Pause & Chat - our no pressure, no judgement group looking at different ways to bring meditation or a moment of pause into our day.

As we move from Summer to Autumn, we will celebrate all ways of gently softening the pace. With modern pressures it can at times feel that self care needs to take second place - with small adjustments we can make positive changes which don’t impact too much on our schedule.
Even 1 minute in the morning, evening, or throughout the day can make a difference.

These sessions are for anyone who wants to make a difference to their wellbeing, interested in meditation but not really sure where to start or perhaps you would like to begin a practice with your family or gather techniques to guide them.

For further details email [email protected] or by DM

All sessions are drop-in with an optional contribution of £2 towards resources.

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT FOR THE SUMMER 🌞 AN ALTERNATIVE SOUND IMMERSION ✨✨✨✨

✨✨✨✨THE SECRET FOREST WHERE SOUNDS GROW✨✨✨✨

Children (as we know) are incredibly inquisitive & curious and in my experience they respond really well to sound and a little bit of pause✨

This is an opportunity to explore and experience with your children;

Explore gentle movement (well maybe a dance), learning a chanting song about the earth and sky, child friendly relaxation techniques, introducing some of the instruments and ending with a short sound immersion with a story. Children are welcome to sit, lie down, snuggle next to you or move if they need to.

Learning life skills to help our children deal with anxious moments, I have found are best practiced as a family. Be your own support group😊

This session is booking only with a £5 non refundable deposit with the remainder payable on the day by cash or card.

I have mats but do feel free to bring your own along with a cushion or pillow. If the weather is warm you may not need a blanket but again bring what you need for your comfort.

Water will be available if needed.

Price is for 1 adult and 2 children

Email [email protected] or DM for further details and payment instructions.

Whilst you rest over the summer, take a moment to jot down the dates for September through to December 😊

On what can only be described as a very warm evening 😊
we came together and explored how we can make a simple action into a meditation experience - a moment of pause✨

Sparkling water, apple juice, mint, lemon
Tasting & experiencing the various flavours, aromas, textures ——
noticing how the addition of one flavour can enhance …….. or maybe not😂

Of course we had to try chocolate raisins or jelly tots for a mindful moment…..

We ended we an impromptu cooling relaxation exercise to aid comfort before sleep 😴

New dates for September to be posted soon

Join us on Thursday 9 July 7-8pm in Wychwood Library for a moment to sit, pause & chat over a beverage and cake.
We are not about formal meditation
We do not follow any particular style of meditation -
We do however aim to help you find a way to add a moment of pause into your daily routine.

Some of our group have adapted their morning cuppa into their moment of pause; others have found sitting in the garden, walking, reading to be their pause.

Just adding 5 minutes of pause into our daily routine can be of benefit. When we do it, those around us often follow. Discovering the difference between Meditating (actively exploring) and Meditation (being in stillness) we free ourselves of previous interpretations of what we believed meditation to be.

These sessions are free with an option to donate £2 towards costs.
