Usually with a group of around 8 students who you will find are very similar to you! You will learn using discussion, meditation ( don't worry if you haven't done this, you will be gently guided)! Reiki handholds, practical demonstrations and you will have the opportunity to practice your healing skills. To feel the energy and how you perceive it. You will receive four reiki attunements, usually done individually in a relaxed way. ( Your Reiki Master will attune you to the life force energy by spending 5 to 10 minutes with you in quiet meditation. This is how you can connect to the life force enery during a day) You may feel slight changes during or between each attunement ). It can be a relaxing and pleasant experience for you! Don't be scared!!! Your teacher is experienced and has attuned many hundreds of lovely people to reiki!
• You will learn about protecting yourself from negative energy.
• Given a practical demonstration of giving a reiki healing and you can give each other healing.
• Uses of reiki from friends, family to clearing spaces, animals, plants, gifts etc. Be creative!
• Side effects if any and what to be careful of. History of Reiki and different types.
• You will be given 21 days self healing to allow you time to adjust to this wonderful shift.
• You will be given a written manual and a certificate. Reiki 2 is a natural progression on the reiki learning path. It can be taken when at least 6 months have passed after reiki 1. It is advisable to allow this time as the connection with the reiki 1 attunements can settle and allow time for the adjustment of the higher vibration to take place. Reiki 1 attunement can also be a beautiful light energy and it can be enjoyed as such. Reiki 2 involves 2 attunements and although it will deepen your experience of reiki in a more sophisticated way, it awakens the physical, emotional and spiritual levels of one's self. It does lift and ground the emotional level in a subtle way. This is a practicioner course and reiki 2 healers are able to practice on the public ( providing insurance is produced). Reiki III is the final level in the Reiki initiation process, allowing access to the Master symbol. Here the practitioner is attuned to the Master symbol, which allows the final gateway to Universal Consciousness and aligning all energy centres with Source Energy. This stage also allows the practitioner to learn all the sacred symbols, including the initiation process of all three Reiki attunements. This of course allows the practitioner to attune others and thus become a Reiki Master Teacher.

Why do some places teach two levels to the third degree: Reiki Master 3a and Reiki Master 3b? In some areas, the final Reiki degree is taught in two parts - Reiki Master 3a and Reiki Master Teacher 3b. This is where the practitioner is attuned with the Master symbol in 3a and then taught separately how to teach others in 3b. These parts can be separated by doing a back to back course, however this increases the cost for the practitioner. We offer the training as one course, as it is traditionally taught. Which also has the benefit of saving considerable costs for the practitioner.
