What a brilliant day at the Newark Half Marathon yesterday!

From our incredible runners taking on the challenge, to the amazing support team cheering every step of the way, Team Beaumond truly made an impact. We were honoured to be featured in an on-stage interview with the event organisers, helping to raise the profile of Beaumond House amongst around 1,000 runners and their supporters.

Perhaps most importantly, the day gave us the opportunity to have so many poignant and powerful conversations with runners, supporters and members of the public. Once again, it was a reminder of just how loved, respected and valued Beaumond House is within our community.

Our runners did us proud, and together we did our runners, our community, our patients and their families proud too.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, enthusiasm and support. Whether you ran, volunteered, cheered, organised, promoted or encouraged from the sidelines, you helped create something special.

A huge good luck to all our amazing runners taking on the Newark Half Marathon this morning. Thank you for lacing up your trainers, pushing yourselves, and raising vital funds to support patients and families across our community.

🏃‍♀️ This Sunday, Beaumond House Trustee Della Money takes on the next stage of her incredible marathon challenge at the Newark Half Marathon.

Having already completed the Round Sheffield Run, Della is raising funds for Beaumond House by tackling four events:

🏃 Ealing Half Marathon

🐉 Just ONE MONTH to go until the Newark Dragon Boat Festival! 🐉

We're excited to be partnering once again with our friends at Children's Bereavement Centre for this fantastic community event.

As the countdown begins, we're looking for volunteers to help make the day a success. There are a variety of roles and shifts available, so whether you can spare a few hours or a full day, we'd love to hear from you.

Volunteering is a great way to support two local charities, meet new people, and be part of an exciting day on the water.

💙 A huge thank you and congratulations to our incredible young supporter and volunteer, Josh, who bravely shaved his head yesterday to raise funds for Beaumond House Hospice Care.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Our Newark Half Marathon runners recently met at Beaumond House for a training run with Simon, our Director of Income Generation & Marketing, before enjoying some well-earned refreshments and the chance to meet members of the Beaumond House team.

We're incredibly grateful to the 50+ runners who will be taking on the Newark Half Marathon on Sunday 16 August in support of Beaumond House. 💙
