Tools for insight & guidance

There are so many different tools we can use when we want a little guidance, clarity or simply to explore and strengthen our own intuition.

You also don’t have to be an expert to try these and see what comes forward for you

Over the next few days I thought we could have a closer look at some of them together. Not because there is a right or wrong way to find guidance, but because different things naturally appeal to different people.

🔮 TAROT CARDS

Tarot uses pictures, symbols and traditional meanings to help us look more deeply at a situation. Sometimes a card can make us notice something we hadn’t considered before or encourage our intuition to speak a little louder.

✨ PENDULUM

A pendulum is most commonly used for simple yes and no questions. Part of learning to use one is discovering its movements and becoming comfortable with asking clear questions. We’ll be doing some work with these today!

🌿 ORACLE CARDS

Oracle cards are a little less structured than tarot. Different decks have different themes and messages, and they can be a lovely starting point when you simply want a little guidance or something to reflect upon.

☕ TEA LEAF READING

One of the oldest and most fascinating forms of intuitive reading. The shapes and patterns left behind in the cup can be interpreted as symbols, with intuition playing a big part in what you notice and what those symbols mean to you.

The important thing to remember is that these are tools.

You don’t need every one of them. You don’t have to connect with every method and you certainly don’t have to use something simply because somebody else does.

Part of developing your own intuition is discovering what works for YOU.
