How are you breathing right now?

We often don’t realise how much our breath reflects what’s happening within us.

We can become so used to feeling tense, stressed or anxious that it starts to feel like our ‘norm’ when actually, our nervous system may be trying to tell us that something needs our attention.

Our breath can be one of the biggest clues.

Rushed. Held. Shallow. Tight.

Sometimes, simply noticing how you’re breathing is the first step towards slowing down, reconnecting and creating a little more space within.

A new beginning ✨ Two weeks ago (the same week that marked 6 months since losing Mum) we completed on our new home. Endings and beginnings. Grief and joy. Dark and light. ALL the emotions!

It’s been a magical first week, welcome cards and freshly baked cookies from neighbours, picking our own home grown berries, immersing ourselves in the nature that we’re now surrounded by. Seeing the cats living their best lives 🥰

Mum has definitely been with me, I can feel her smiling and happy that we’re here. This house has been intertwined with her loss. I asked her to help us make it happen and she did ✨🪽and we did ❤️

Now it’s time for a new chapter, new ideas and a strong pull to reconnect with the lovely community here. It time and I’m excited!
