🍀 The Therapy Relationship 🍀

This is about more than just the relationship we build with your child. In that one session per week, there are many goals we are working upon but the adult who is present, whether that is a parent or school staff member, is a hugely important part of this. We need your buy-in to the therapeutic approach, asking questions, working together to achieve the outcomes we are working towards for your little person.

If all of the strategies are incorporated into the child's everyday life, we will see change happen. It is up to us as adults to ensure the child has all of the tools available to communicate at all points throughout the day, in a language rich, pressure reduced environment.

We are excited to work with and continue working with our families and observe the progress we can all make together! We are all part of the Little Leprechauns team! ❤️

🍀 As we hurtle to the end of the school year, we would like to inform everyone that there may be a delay in responses to emails or enquiries due to end of school craziness, impending personal holidays, building work happening and a baptism! 🍀

💚 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) 💚
This week, Rachel has access to the Preschool Autism Summit which has some amazing speakers lined up! From this, we hope to continue to diversify and grow our therapy offer for all of our kiddies!

💚 Today, Rachel and Mo have met to complete some further education and support! We have been planning next steps for Little Leprechauns, reviewing our year so far and planning for our little people. We were joined by a member of staff from Liberator to discuss their Alternative and Augmentative communication offerings.

Of course we had a lovely scone and lunch at Brocksbushes too,!
