Let’s talk about one of the most powerful, underrated forms of movement: WALKING—specifically that magic number, 10,000 steps a day.
I know it doesn’t sound as intense as a gym session or a HIIT class, but walking is a total game-changer—for your body and your mind.
Here’s why I recommend it to clients of all ages (and why science backs it up):
Boosts heart health, supports weight management, and improves circulation
Lifts your mood and reduces anxiety—walking gives your brain a natural boost of feel-good endorphins
Increases energy levels and improves sleep quality
Being outdoors adds even more benefits: exposure to sunlight and nature can reduce stress, improve focus, and restore mental clarity
It’s also low-impact, easy on the joints, and something most of us can fit into our day—no equipment or gym needed
And let’s be honest—sometimes a walk is the best way to clear your head, reset your energy, or just escape the chaos for a bit.
Let’s make walking cool again.
Who’s with me for a 10k-a-day step challenge?
