The new reception, office and customer areas are now framed out, and it’s finally starting to look like a proper workshop.

There’s still plenty to do before we’re ready to welcome customers, but we’re making great progress and can’t wait to show you the finished result!

Another one sorted and back on the road the same day 👨‍🔧🚗

This MINI we attended with a seized brake caliper causing binding and poor braking performance – not something you want to ignore.

We got straight to it, replaced the faulty caliper, checked everything over, and had it all repaired and running spot on… all in the same day.

A good example of why unusual noises shouldn’t be ignored…

This vehicle came in with a knocking noise and poor handling. On inspection we found a broken front coil spring, which had dropped down and started rubbing against the tyre.
As you can see from the photos, the sharp edge of the broken spring had already started cutting into the sidewall of the tyre, which could easily have led to a dangerous blowout while driving.
The fix involved: Replacing the damaged coil spring

Love a good “where’s that coming from then?” job 👀🔧

This week we sorted a fairly heavy oil leak on a Citroen van that was making a proper mess of the engine bay. Oil was pooling around the top of the engine and running down the block – never a great sight when you pop the bonnet.

After tracing it back, we identified the source, replaced the faulty components, cleaned everything down properly and checked over the rest of the system to make sure there were no secondary issues hiding underneath all that oil.

All sealed up, cleaned up and back on the road 👍
