Another wonderful week here at our home! 💛

Our residents have enjoyed a variety of activities, including fun games, bingo, relaxing time in the garden, and delicious treats from the bakery van. 🍰☕

We've also been offering 1-to-1 boxing sessions for residents who prefer a quieter activity or are unable to attend our group sessions, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to stay active in a way that suits them. 🥊

It's been a week full of smiles, laughter, fresh air, good company, and of course, plenty of tea! We can't wait to see what next week brings. 💚

We couldn’t resist sharing a few more photos from our fabulous 1940s–1970s party! 🥳❤️

There was plenty of music, laughter, dancing and reminiscing as our residents and team travelled back through the decades. From favourite songs to wonderful memories and stories, it was a fantastic day full of smiles and fun! 🎵💃🕺

And to finish off our week, we’ve also included a little snapshot from Gentlemen’s Club! 👔☕️

Our gentlemen enjoyed some time together, having a chat, sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company. It’s always lovely seeing those friendships and conversations develop. ❤️

🎶🇬🇧 A Trip Down Memory Lane – 1940s to 1970s! 🇬🇧🎶

Yesterday we took a wonderful trip back in time as we celebrated the 1940s through to the 1970s here at the home! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic day filled with music, memories, delicious food and plenty of smiles, with the brilliant team from Independent Arts providing the entertainment. 🎤🎶

There was plenty of singing along to much-loved songs from across the decades, with lots of reminiscing, laughter and stories being shared about times gone by. It was wonderful to see our residents enjoying the music and each other's company. 🥰

And we can't forget our amazing kitchen team, who really pulled out all the stops! 👩‍🍳❤️ They prepared a fantastic spread including homemade Scotch eggs, beautiful sandwiches and delicious trifles, which went down an absolute treat! 🥪🥚🍓🍰

Our garden was decorated for the occasion, creating the perfect setting for everyone to sit together, enjoy the sunshine, listen to some fantastic music and take a trip down memory lane. ☀️🌸

A huge thank you to Independent Arts for helping make the afternoon so special, and to our wonderful kitchen team for the incredible food! ❤️

It was a truly lovely afternoon full of music, memories, friendship and good food — exactly what reminiscence is all about. 🎶💕

💙 Our little caddy car is feeling a bit under the weather! 💙🚗

Unfortunately, our much-loved caddy car has decided it needs a little TLC and is currently off the road while it gets repaired. 🛠️

This means some of our planned outings may need to be rearranged or take a little longer than usual. We know how much our residents enjoy getting out and about, and we'll be back on the road making wonderful memories as soon as we can.

Thank you for your patience and understanding—we can't wait to get our trusty caddy back where it belongs! 💙😊

Jeremy and John had a fantastic time heading out to enjoy the excitement of Cowes Week! ⚓️⛵️

They loved soaking up the atmosphere, seeing the boats and enjoying all the sights and sounds that make Cowes Week so special. It was a wonderful opportunity to get out and about, enjoy the sunshine and make some lovely memories together. 💙

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Mavis! 🎂🎉

What a wonderful day celebrating our lovely Mavis! 💖

Mavis started her special day in the best way possible, singing along to one of her all-time favourite songs, "Over the Rainbow," before enjoying a delicious breakfast in the lounge with, of course, a playlist full of her favourite artist, Ed Sheeran. 🎶💛

This afternoon, residents and staff came together to make her birthday extra special, singing a heartfelt Happy Birthday before Mavis blew out the candles on her beautiful birthday cake. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories made throughout the day. 🎂🎈

From everyone at Solent Grange, we'd like to wish Mavis a very Happy Birthday. We hope you've had the most fantastic day celebrating—you truly deserve it! 💐🥳💖

It’s been a lovely few days here at Solent Grange! 💙

Our residents have been keeping busy and enjoying lots of wonderful moments together. Our gentlemen enjoyed a fantastic Men’s Club, spending time together, chatting, sharing stories and having a good laugh. ☕️💬

We’ve also enjoyed some wonderful live music with the lovely Maria, bringing plenty of smiles, singing, dancing and toe-tapping along the way! 🎶🎤

And of course, we had a very special visit from our four-legged friend Tinker for some much-loved pet therapy. 🐾❤️ Our residents always enjoy spending time with Tinker, and there were lots of cuddles, smiles and happy faces all around!

A few days filled with friendship, music, companionship and plenty of joy — just the way we like it! 💙✨

🌟 What a busy week we’ve had so far at Solent Grange! 🌟

It’s been another week full of fun, laughter and plenty of opportunities to get involved! 💕 We’ve celebrated another birthday 🎂🥳, got creative with arts & crafts with Debbie Independent Arts , enjoyed some lovely 1-1 time and relaxing hand massages, and had a fantastic time enjoying live music with Dave Plummer 🎶🎤.

We’ve also been putting our brains to the test with Boggle with Barbara 🧩🔤 and keeping active with a fun session of Boxercise Mark Topgun 🥊💪!

Another wonderful week filled with music, creativity, exercise, friendship and lots of smiles. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! 💗✨

Gladys always looks forward to spending time with Logan when he visits. Their chats, cuddles and smiles bring so much joy, proving that friendship knows no age.

Another wonderful weekend at Solent Grange! 💙

Our residents have been making the most of some lovely one-to-one time, whether it was enjoying relaxing hand massages, soaking up the sunshine in the garden, or putting their thinking caps on for a fun quiz! 🌿💆‍♀️🧠

It's often the simple moments that bring the biggest smiles. Spending quality time together, sharing conversations, laughter and a little friendly competition helps make every day special.
