WEATHER WARNING!

As you are all aware, a Red Weather Warning is currently in place for Wales today and tomorrow with temperatures rising to 36 degrees. All services in practice are continuing, however, if you would like to rearrange your appointment over the next 2 days due to travelling to the surgery in the heat then please contact reception.

All clinic rooms have air-conditioning but waiting areas do not and although they are cooler than outside temperatures may rise over the next few hours to days. We would therefore ask patients who are planning on attending the surgery to: -

• Stay hydrated - bring water with you.
• Dress appropriately – wear lightweight clothing where possible

Today, Monday, 8th June at 1:30pm a two minute silence will be held at St Julian’s Medical Centre to commemorate a year since Dr Graeme Yule’s passing. The door of the surgery will be temporarily closed and the phones will not be answered during this time. We thank you for your consideration.

Yesterday we celebrated and said goodbye to our wonderful Judith Prosser, Judith had been with us as a practice nurse since 1993 and for 20 of those years she has been lead nurse nurturing and inspiring her team and what a team she has. After 42 years in the NHS Judith is now going to embark on her new adventure..... Retirement and although we are going to miss her kind, funny and positive influence at the surgery we wish her all the best, if anyone deserves to put their feet up it's Judith. Thank you Judith for all your hard work and support over the years we will miss you ###x

We have no access to any computers or telephones at present. We are currently trying to sort this with our It team and hope to be up and running soon. It means that we are unable to book any appointments at the moment. If you already have an appointment we can see you, however, we cannot print fit notes or prescriptions.
