I seem to see a lot of videos by injectors with subjects along the lines of ā€˜ people seem to think I lead a glamorous lifestyle of holidays and fancy handbags but the reality is so far away from thatā€¦ā€™

I donā€™t know what the viewer is meant to feel

Should a potential patient feel that they should pay you more?

Should other injectors comment as being ā€˜relatableā€™?

Maybe instead of self-pity, shouldnā€™t you spend your time with those that have built their lifestyle around their vocation?

Having spent 15 + years in the industry , and travelled to many countries as a speaker and guest in conferences across the globe, I can reliably confirm that many of us choose that lifestyle

Itā€™s not luck, and itā€™s not circumstances. If you want a lifestyle you think you deserve, choose it

If your angle is off, the treatment feels off. Keeping a steady, comfortable position for both the injector and the patient is key to clean retrograde placement.

ā€œWill it hurt?ā€

Itā€™s one of the most common questions I get in the clinic. The honest answer is that it depends on the treatment and the individual, but you might be surprised by how comfortable the process actually is.

Hereā€™s why: itā€™s all about targeting the right layers.

If you watch closely in this video, Iā€™m using a blunt cannula and staying strictly within the superficial layers of the tissue. Because we are using the right tool and purposely avoiding deeper structures like muscle or bone, there is very little resistance.

To make sure youā€™re entirely comfortable, we also:

1. Use the finest tools and needles available.
2. Offer numbing where appropriate.
3. Work slowly and check in with you throughout the entire treatment.

Most patients describe the experience as a mild, totally manageable discomfort rather than actual pain. Weā€™d much rather you ask the question than avoid a treatment because of a worry we can easily address!
