📊 General Practice Activity – July 2026

As part of the General Medical Services (GMS) Contract, all GP practices in Wales are required to report on specific areas of activity.

The infographic below has been provided for us to share with our patients and gives a snapshot of activity at Preseli Practice during July 2026.

Please note: Since moving to EMIS, the number of appointments recorded as "Did Not Attend" (DNA) has increased. We believe this is likely to be a data issue rather than a genuine increase in missed appointments and are currently investigating.

**Bilingual post/ Post Dwyieithog** 6 August/Awst 2026

This week we have welcomed three new doctors to the team.
Dr Okolie and Dr Hussien join us as GP Registrars, with us as part of their GP Training programme.
Dr Jakes joins us as a **Foundation Doctor**, on placement for four months to gain experience in Primary Care.

All three doctors are fully qualified and, after a short period of induction and shadowing our clinicians, will begin holding clinics across both Practice sites.

We’re delighted to have them with us and look forward to supporting them during their time at Preseli Practice.
