CCE An Bonnán Buí Our branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann was founded in September 2011and is based in Crossmaglen Cathal Bui was a very popular balladeer/poet of his day.

The name 'An Bonnán Buí' comes from a very famous Irish poem of the same name written by the Irish poet Cathal Mac Giolla Gunna, described by many as one of the four most prominent of the south Ulster and north Leinster poets. It’s a truly beautiful traditional Irish song dating from the early 18th century.

All the best to Céilí Dancing Team from Scoil Rince De Barra who are performing today!

A special mention to our Colla Céilí Band who will compete in the Senior Céilí Band Competition on Sunday evening at 5.30pm in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast. The competition will also be livestreamed for everyone to enjoy.

It is some achievement to reach this stage, and we are so proud of all our members. Enjoy the experience! 🎻🪕

Massive congratulations to Iarla McMahon on another fantastic Ulster Fleadh.

Iarla was crowned Ulster Champion in the Senior Uilleann Pipe's Competition for the 4th year running. 🎶👏

He also achieved 2nd place in the Senior Pipes Air Competition and 2nd place in the Senior Mandolin Competition - an incredible set of results.

Congratulations to our very own The Colla Céilí Band, who have returned from the Ulster Fleadh in Warrenpoint as Ulster Champions for the second year in a row! 🏆🏆

This fantastic achievement makes them two-time Ulster Champions, and we are incredibly proud of the band and all their hard work. 🧡🤍

We are looking forward to supporting them as they compete in the Senior Céilí Band Competition in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, on Sunday 9th August.

Keep an eye out for ticket release details — the band would love to see as much support as possible on the night as they represent Armagh on the All-Ireland stage.
