What a weekend! 👏

Over the past four days, our incredible teams have supported Live at Powderham across four unforgettable show nights, deploying more than 40 clinicians and support staff to provide a full range of medical care, from minor injuries and illnesses through to advanced and critical care.

Alongside this, we also brought to a close four weeks of medical provision at Southampton Summer Sessions and Live at Lincoln, the culmination of months of planning, preparation and teamwork.

Working through some of the hottest weather of the year, our teams remained committed to delivering safe, compassionate and professional care to everyone who needed us, helping thousands of festival-goers enjoy their experience with confidence.

A huge thank you to every member of the Western Medical Services team and our colleagues from AAA.Ambulance3 and Protak Critical Care Services. Your dedication, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile never go unnoticed.

Now… time for a well-earned rest before we do it all again 💚🚑

What a great weekend at English Riviera Airshow2026!
This was our 3rd year providing the medical provision for the Airshow supporting Torbay Council event team to deliver this fantastic event ✈️

One of the best events of the season 🚑

As always, we continued to support events up and down the country, alongside our fantastic Patient Transport teams who continued to be out all weekend ensuring patients continued to move around as normal.
We are really proud to see what this team can achieve. Thanks all 💚

Before this weekend REALLY takes off…
We wanted to share some beautiful images taken by one of our Team Leaders, Tom, on a European Repatriation to Malaga, Spain! 🇪🇸

This was a 3036 miles round trip, taking place over 4 days.
From point of contact to mobilisation within 48hrs, another patient was safely brought home to the UK!
Well done to both the team on the road and the team in control for another fantastic job!
Nothing feels better than bringing someone home 💚

Wow, another year complete!
Thank you to The Great West Run for having WMS provide the medical provisions for Devon’s biggest run! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏻 🏃🏽‍♂️
There was a Half Marathon, Community Mile and 10k on a very warm day 🌞
So, for this event we provided:
Multi-level command structure
Consultant led medical centre
Dual control team & Tactical Commander
6 Ambulance crews
4 RRVs
2 CRU
5 FA points
Finish line team
Race village team

69 members of staff including doctor, specialist paramedics, nurses, technicians and more!
This event was a true demonstration on what can happen when a community comes together.

Western Medical Services worked closely with South Western Ambulance Service to ensure this event had no impact on our local statutory service. Thanks to our committed, talented and enthusiastic team, we could make that a reality. Westerners really are a force to be reckon with.
Can’t thank the team at GWR enough, they do a fantastic job of looking after, not only, all of you in attendance but us as a medical provider.
