A little something from the Swish | A Northants community 💘 project. allotment 🧺🥒🍅 (or not!)

As it’s my last week at HQ, I had the intention of offering a small harvest from Swish | A Northants community 💘 project.’s allotment as a little thank you to families for their support during my time at Brampton. Kind of a “take what you like, if you like”; a cucumber, some rhubarb, a handful of toms.

However, the heat had other ideas and it just wasn’t quite possible! It’s the thought that counts, right? 🌞

Thank you for sharing your fruit & veggies, Abi, even if it didn’t quite work out! 👩‍🌾 Your kindness and commitment to sustainability really do shine through 🌱

And I guess this is also an opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to all the families who have visited HQ, told their friends and shouted about this little Buds business of mine 🫶🏼

Forest School at the Farm 🌲

Step inside an enchanted fairy glen, tucked away amongst the trees at Welford Christmas Tree Farm 🌳🪵🧚‍♀️

We’re going to start developing pockets of the site this week and I’ll be sure to share glimpses and glimmers along the way ✨

This is going to be a super special place to play and learn, I can feel it 💫🌲✨🌙🌞

You know it’s been a busy one when there’s only 5 photos on your camera role from the whole week! 😅

Mud kitchen bakes, making chalk paints, hammers, palm drills, whittling, the eagle game, building shelters, finding ‘fossils’, fox and rabbits (cat and mice) game, bug hunts, fairy flags, obstacle course, hammock time, hide and seek, 21 seek, tree climbing, magic wands, puppet shows, sun catchers, crowns, sink or float challenge, squirrels nuts game, Bog Baby storytelling and clay, bunting, forest p-a-r-t-y, yoga under the trees, friendship bracelets, making fruit skewers and moreeeee.

Each day brought something new and the highlight for me personally was our Forest Camp’s Got Talent Show where the children demonstrated creativity, confidence and courage. The line up included;

🥋 Martial arts demo
🎤 Tears for Fears solo
🎟️ The Forest Puppet Show
🕺🏻 The Wiggle Dance
💃🏽 Macarena
🎭 Comedy duo
🪄 Magic Show

🦏 The Rhino team were awesome, shout out to Coach Lewis and Harry who fully embraced the forest flow.

It takes a village🌾

✨I have been incredibly grateful to work alongside a number of schools, nurseries and educational settings this year, each with a shared belief that childhood should be filled with curiosity, adventure and wonder.

🌎 Opportunities are carefully curated for children to roam, discover, take considered risks, build confidence and develop a lasting connection with the natural world.

🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 Each partnership is rooted in a shared vision: that children learn best when they’re given the time, space and freedom to explore.

Here are some of the wonderful settings I have had the privilege to work with throughout 2026, including the beautiful Wildflowers Nature Nursery who I am so excited to be partnering with from September 🤍
