Soppy post incoming….
Being a Doula is such a blessing 🙏

I have supported so many lovely families and I have been lucky enough to see so many of my Doula babies grow up into gorgeous little people 🤗❤️

I’ve been told on more than one occasion that I’ve made such a huge impact on peoples lives and I can tell you it’s totally mutual 🥰

You know who you are and I love you all endlessly 🙏❤️✨

✨ A further 1 antenatal/ postnatal space available from October–December
✨ Very limited birth support availability remaining for 2026 (please enquire)

Today has been all about community!
A lovely brunch and catchup with my local Doula sisters and . Didn’t get any pics, so this one’s from our last meetup.

Then followed by a chat (setting the world to rights 🤭) with the best Doula in Leicester 😘

Love my Doula sisters 💕

Today marks 5 years since this epic birth!
When I met my clients they were traumatised by two previous cesareans and they were adamant this time would be different.
And it was!
Despite a lot of pressure and anxiety, she had a beautiful home birth! Such an honour to witness such strength and courage 🤗

Happy Birthday little one! 🎂

Shared with permission 🙏

Antenatal doula sessions are designed to give you knowledge, confidence, and real support as you prepare for birth — in a way that’s completely centred around you.

We begin with understanding labour and birth, so you know what to expect as things progress, what’s considered normal, and how to feel more informed in the moment rather than overwhelmed by uncertainty.

We explore comfort measures and pain relief options, including movement, positioning, and practical ways to support your body through labour — so you feel equipped with a range of tools, not just one plan.

And we focus on birth planning with flexibility built in from the start. This includes creating a plan based on your preferences and informed choices, alongside preparing for potential changes such as induction, hospital transfer, or cesarean birth — so you can move through birth feeling informed rather than fearful if things shift.

Because preparation isn’t about controlling how birth unfolds — it’s about feeling grounded, supported, and confident in whatever your experience becomes.

I support families nationally online, and in person across Northamptonshire and surrounding counties. Whatsapp support is included for all my clients who opt for antenatal sessions with me.

So, if you’re looking for antenatal support that meets you where you are, I’d love to support you. 🤍

I see so many parents put pressure on themselves to create the “perfect” birth plan…

But the truth is, birth doesn’t always follow a script.

A birth plan isn’t a guarantee of a perfect experience — it’s a tool.
A way to learn your options, explore your preferences, and feel confident navigating decisions as birth unfolds.

Because the most empowering births aren’t always the ones that go exactly to plan…
They’re the ones where you feel supported, safe, and respected.

If you’re building your birth plan and want support without judgment, I’m here. 🤍

✨ DM me the word BIRTH to chat about doula support + see if we’re a good fit.

📌 Save this for later + share with someone who needs the reminder.

There is no “right” way to give birth — only what feels right for you.

For one person, a home birth may feel like the safest, most peaceful, most logical choice.
For another, that same option may feel incredibly risky or overwhelming.

For one person, a cesarean may feel like the most empowering decision they can make — the option that brings calm, clarity, and safety.
For another, it may feel like the last thing they want and something they hope to avoid unless absolutely necessary.

And that’s the thing about birth…
There is no universal blueprint.

Birth is not a performance.
It is not a competition.
It is not something you “win” by doing it unmedicated, at home, in a hospital, fast, slow, vaginally, or surgically.

What matters most is that you feel:
✨ informed
✨ supported
✨ respected
✨ safe in your body and your environment
✨ empowered in your choices

Because when you are given real information and true support, you get to decide what your safest birth looks like.

All birth is valid.
And you deserve care that honors your autonomy every step of the way. 🤍

If you’re planning your birth and want support without judgment, I’m here.

✨ Be mindful of who you invite into your birth. ✨

Birth is a deeply instinctive, vulnerable, powerful rite of passage.
And one of the most overlooked parts of birth preparation is this:

Who will be in the room with you matters.

Every person you allow into your space brings their energy, their beliefs, their nervous system, their voice, their presence… and all of it can influence how safe, open, and supported your body feels.

This includes:
🤍 your partner
🤍 a doula
🤍 your midwife
🤍 student midwives or doctors
🤍 hospital staff entering and leaving
🤍 consultants, anaesthetists, paediatric teams

If you’re birthing in hospital, it can also mean that without realising it, you may be inviting multiple professionals into your space simply because of routine checks, shift changes, or policies.

That doesn’t mean hospital birth is wrong.
It simply means it’s worth asking:
✨ Who do I want present?
✨ Who do I feel safe with?
✨ Who helps me stay calm and connected?
✨ Who makes me feel observed or interrupted?

Because safety in birth isn’t only physical.
It’s emotional. It’s energetic. It’s nervous system.

Your birth space is sacred.
Choose it — and the people in it — with care. 🤍
