Hunched back & hunched neck are often just the surface of the iceberg. 🧊
Instead of only trying to “straighten” the neck or pull the shoulders back, we need to look deeper.
Your body is an intelligent, interconnected biomechanical system. When one area is restricted or poorly controlled, another area may compensate.
A hunched posture may be influenced by things such as:
✨ Stiff hips
✨ Limited spinal mobility
✨ Pelvic position and movement
✨ Weakness or poor coordination
✨ Restricted breathing patterns
✨ Spending long hours in the same position
🧐 or uneven feet pressure…
The neck and upper back may simply be where we see the result — not necessarily where the whole problem begins.
That’s why in my Spine Care Yoga approach, we don’t just work on the neck and shoulders.
We look at the body as a whole — from the feet and hips, through the pelvis and spine, all the way to the head.
Don’t just treat the surface. Explore the roots.
Your posture is not something to “fix” by force.
It is something to understand, move, and gradually improve.
