Bassetlaw Hospice provides palliative care and support for the Bassetlaw Community. It exists to enable patients with progressive life limiting diseases and their carers to achieve the best quality of life. Each year the Charity needs to raise a minimum of £250,000. We only fund raise in Bassetlaw, so every penny counts. All the donations we receive help to continue the provision of specialist pal

liative care and support we provide for patients and their families at what is always a very difficult time in their lives.

Help make every step count 💜💚

On 13th September 2026, Bonney, our CEO, and a team of fundraisers will take on Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain, to raise vital funds for Bassetlaw Hospice.

Bassetlaw Hospice is now newly independent, marking an exciting but challenging new chapter. While independence gives us the opportunity to shape our future and strengthen our services, it also means we must raise more of our own funding than ever before.

Every donation will help us continue providing compassionate, specialist end-of-life care for local people and their families when they need it most.

Ben Nevis will be a huge physical and mental challenge, but every step will be taken for our patients, families, staff, volunteers and the wider Bassetlaw community.

No donation is too small. Every contribution will make a real difference.💜
