A big thank you to all those involved in our Junior Taster of Work visit yesterday (Kenyon ward, Library, Housekeeping, Theatres, Chaplin, Medical Secretaries and the Simlab team)❤️.

"I just wanted to write to say a huge thank you for such a fantastic visit today for our Year 5 children from both Welshampton and Newtown.
The time, energy and enthusiasm you put into organising the day ensured the children were completely absorbed in learning about the wide range of roles within the hospital and loved seeing how everything fits together to keep things running smoothly. Finding out how a ward works, how staff are trained, and having a go with the simulators made it all feel very real and exciting for them.
It gave them a genuine insight into how hospitals operate and opened their eyes to the many different opportunities within healthcare.
They have come back full of enthusiasm and questions, and it’s been lovely to hear them talking so confidently about what they learned. We would absolutely love to visit again next year, if possible, as it was such a valuable experience for them."
