Last week, our residents were delighted to welcome two beautiful Shetland ponies for a very special visit. There were so many smiles, cuddles, and lovely moments shared as everyone enjoyed spending time with them🐴

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Ricksen the therapy pet, who completely stole everyone’s hearts! 🥰 Ricksen brought so much comfort, joy, and happiness to all who met him.

What a lovely time we’ve had recently! ☀️

Our residents have been making the most of the beautiful sunshine, enjoying outdoor games, fresh air, and plenty of laughs together. We’ve also had a fun exercise class to keep everyone active, and we’ve been making sure everyone stays cool and well hydrated in the warm weather. 💧

A big thank you to Angela Duncan for coming in to perform for us – everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment! 🎶🎤

🌞 Summer Fayre Success! 🌞

What a fantastic day we had at our Summer Fayre at the weekend! Thank you to everyone who came along, supported us, donated, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success.

We are delighted to share that we raised an amazing £875! 🎉 Every penny will go towards enhancing activities and experiences for our residents.

A huge thank you to all of the incredible staff who worked so hard before, during, and after the event.

A HUGE well done to the activity team at Kingsley for all the hard work they put into the Summer fair!! From making decorations, blowing up an enormous amount of balloons, organising everything and attending on the day, they have done an amazing job!!! Thank you girls!!! 👏👏👏👏

What a wonderful week we’ve had! ☀️🐾💛

This week, we were delighted to welcome the lovely Therapet Ricksen for a special visit, bringing lots of smiles and cuddles. We’ve also been making the most of the beautiful sunshine while keeping cool, staying hydrated, and enjoying time outdoors.

We loved our visit from the nursery children, who brought so much laughter and joy to everyone’s day. It’s always so special to spend time together across the generations.🎳

Behind the scenes, we have all been busy helping to prepare for our upcoming Summer Fayre. We’ve been working hard on lots of exciting things and can’t wait to share them with you all soon!🍉☀️

What a fantastic start to the week we’ve had! 🌟

After having to cancel twice due to the weather, we were finally able to complete our sponsored walk at the beginning of the week, and everyone did amazingly well!🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️Massive thank you for everyone who supported us!!

We’ve also enjoyed lots of fun games and have been keeping busy preparing for our upcoming Summer Fayre, with residents lending a helping hand.☀️🎨

With the excitement of football in the air, we spent time reminiscing and discussing all things World Cup, designing our own football kits and even taste-testing foods from different countries around the world. ⚽🍽️

Residents also took part in our exercise class, keeping active and having fun together. 💪😊

We also had the opportunity to watch the pantomime “Nessie”, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and brought plenty of smiles and laughter. 🎭💙

⚽🌍 World Cup Predictions Are In! 🌍⚽

Today we had great fun going around our residents and asking them which country they think will lift the World Cup trophy!🏆

It’s always great to hear the memories, stories, and friendly football debates that a big tournament brings. 😊

And of course, as we’re proudly based in Scotland, we’ll be cheering on the team with plenty of Scottish spirit along the way! 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
