🐶Puppy Day at Abbottswood!🐶

Today we were delighted to introduce our brand-new staff wellbeing initiative... Puppy Therapy! 🤭💙

After extensive research (and lots of cuddles!), we've discovered that a wagging tail, wet nose and plenty of puppy kisses are excellent for boosting morale. We can't promise it's a permanent service... but we'd certainly like to put in a request! 🐾

Don't worry... we're only joking about adding Puppy Therapy to our list of services! 😂

💙Nexplanon Update – Now Effective for Up to 5 Years💙

If you currently have a Nexplanon contraceptive implant, there's important new guidance you should know.

Nexplanon is now licensed to provide contraception for up to 5 years, instead of 3 years.

This means:
✅Existing implants do not need replacing after 3 years if they are being used for contraception.
✅Your current implant can remain in place for an additional 2 years.
✅New implants will now be discussed as providing 5 years of contraceptive protection.

If you have any questions about your implant or would like to discuss your contraception options, please contact the practice.

📢Important Update: Prescription Vending Machine📢

Please be advised that our prescription vending machine is currently out of order until further notice!

If you have received a text to say your prescription is ready for collection we would advise you to collect your medication during surgery hours from the dispensary hatch.

We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your cooperation
