One piece of advice would've saved me years.
Go smaller.
Most people think they fail because they don't have enough discipline.
That's not it.
They fail because they keep making promises they were never going to keep.
You don't build confidence by setting bigger goals.
You build it by keeping smaller promises.
I wish someone had told me that at the start of my fitness journey.
Instead of trying to train 6 days a week, eat perfectly and completely change my life overnight, I should've focused on things I could actually repeat.
A 10-minute walk.
Three 30-minute workouts a week.
Making my bed every morning.
Eating one meal at roughly the same time each day.
Making one simple snack each week.
None of those habits transformed my body overnight.
But every single one of them gave me something far more valuable.
Proof.
Proof that I could follow through.
Proof that I was becoming someone who did what they said they would do.
And that's how self trust is built.
Your body doesn't change because you have one perfect week.
It changes because you become the type of person who keeps showing up.
Small habits aren't powerful because they're small.
They're powerful because every time you complete one, you cast another vote for the person you're becoming.
Stop asking yourself, "What's the fastest way to change my body?"
Start asking, "What's so achievable that I know I'll still be doing it in six months?"
That's the habit that changes everything.
