Feedback from the Registered Manager
As Registered Manager, I'm incredibly proud to have been part of Greenwood Homecare Peterborough for over 8 years. Over that time, we've been proud recipients of multiple small business awards & the Top 20 Care Home award not once but twice, most recently in June 2026 — a real testament to the dedication of our Entire team.
I'm fortunate to have full autonomy in my role, backed by excellent support from our Director and Head of Operations, which allows me to lead in a way that truly puts our carers and clients first.
Leading such a committed group of carers has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. We place huge importance on delivering the highest standard of training to every carer, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and equipped to provide truly person-centred care. Supporting our carers isn't just a policy for us — it's at the heart of everything we do.
We also open our doors four times a year, welcoming our clients, carers, and their families to afternoons filled with fun, support, and good food — because building a real community around our care is just as important to us as the care itself.
I'm proud of what we've built here and excited for what's yet to come.
