Today Sharon from Hospiscare came in so we could donate her with a cheque for £322 that we raised at our summer fete. The residents loved handing it over and felt a real sense of accomplishment that we could make a difference.

What else do you do on a rainy day, but play badminton. Things got a little competitive but everyone had great fun and it’s also good exercise.

Just for any confusion the Coffee Morning will be on Friday 25th September (Tom got a bit confused with his days and dates). We will also have a very special guest, the Lord Mayor of Exeter will be Joining us for a coffee, some cake and a good old natter. Look forward to seeing you all there and supporting a great cause Macmillan Cancer Support.

Preparations are underway for our summer fete tomorow (Friday 14th August). There will be craft stalls, games, BBQ, drinks, face Painting, Live animals and More. All money raised will go to Hospiscare , Look forward to seeing you there.

Last week Callum brought his Classic car in for us to have a look at. It is a 1957 Wolsley 15/50, it’s a beautiful car and it got everyone talking about what cars they use to drive.

OUR OPEN DAY IS 1 WEEK AWAY!
Come down and join us at the lifeboat station on Sunday 16th August 2026, between 10am and 4pm, where there'll be lots to see and do - meet the crew and other partner agencies; grab refreshments from Big Bear Burgers and the Grapevine mobile bar; tour the station, and enjoy live music from the Woodbury Whalers. And, as always, we'll be supported by the Kingsteignton Knit and Natter group whose knitted hats are now in 110 lifeboat stations around the country, keeping our volunteers crews warm and toasty!
