Yesterday’s Run Plymouth Plymouth Half Marathon and 10k looked absolutely brilliant. Huge well done to everybody who took part, whether you were chasing a PB, running your first event, running for charity, or just getting yourself over that finish line.
Watching people run always makes me happy. I genuinely love it.
Running has played a massive part in my own life. It has helped me grow as a person, given me structure, discipline, perspective, and introduced me to some amazing people along the way. It has taught me that big things happen when you just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
As a runner myself, a physiotherapist, and a trustee of the Livewell Foundation , it was great to see so many people out there representing the Foundation and enjoying the day together.
Events like this remind you how powerful movement, community, and encouragement can be. Running really is for everybody, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about giving it a go.
Well done again to every single person involved, including the organisers, volunteers, supporters, friends, and families cheering people on around the course.
