Today, Devlin took one of our wonderful clients for a trip to the Donkey Sanctuary — a chance to get out of the house, enjoy a change of scenery and, most importantly, spend some quality time together.

A First for Anchorpoint Home Care

Today marks a very special milestone for us.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Devlin has become our very first Senior Care Support Worker. 💚

Since joining Anchorpoint, Devlin has consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion and an unwavering commitment to providing outstanding care. She has built wonderful relationships with our clients and has become a trusted and valued member of our team.

This promotion is thoroughly deserved.

At Anchorpoint Home Care, we believe in recognising hard work and creating opportunities for people to grow. Rather than looking elsewhere for leaders, we want to grow our own—supporting our team to develop their skills, take on new responsibilities and build long-term careers with us.

As our first Senior Care Support Worker, Devlin will play an important role in supporting both our clients and our team, helping us maintain the high standards of care that Anchorpoint is known for.

After more than 20 years in management within a major department store, Amanda made the brave decision to embark on a completely new career in care.

Bringing with her a wealth of experience working with people from all walks of life, Amanda has embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, positivity, and a real willingness to get stuck in. Making such a significant career change takes courage, and she has done so with a smile from day one.

Despite only being with us for a short time, Amanda has already made a fantastic impression on our clients and the wider team. Her energy is infectious, and we're excited to see her continue to grow within Anchorpoint.

Today I had the pleasure of accompanying one of our wonderful clients to a local Parkinson's exercise group. 💙

What a fantastic group of people! Everyone was so welcoming, the session was well organised, and most importantly, our friend came away feeling energised, smiling, and ready for the week ahead.

Sometimes it's not just about the care we provide at home – it's about helping people stay connected to their community, maintain their independence, and continue doing the things they enjoy.

Companionship for appointments, exercise groups, social outings and important visits is just one of the many services we offer at Anchorpoint Home Care.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in the Parkinson's group for making me feel so welcome. 💙
