Community Wellbeing and Education CIC was founded in July 2021 by Carol Hendrie.

It is a community interest company that was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. CWE Falkirk purpose is to equip people with the beauty therapy skills that they need to find decent work and feel empowered.

Although CWE Falkirk is based in Falkirk, it operates across the broader Forth Valley in Scotland.

At Community Wellbeing Education CIC, we believe that beauty therapy is more than a skill - it's a pathway to independence, dignity, and a better future.

We exist to equip vulnerable people with the tools they need to find decent work and feel truly empowered.

The International Labour Organisation defines decent work as something that goes far beyond a pay cheque - it's about fair income, safety, social protection, personal growth, and the freedom to have a voice.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. That's what every person we work with deserves. 💛

Samantha was one of our first students. She attended training and we loved what we saw - we could see the eagerness and kindness she had. Sammie has progressed personally and professionally since the first course. She is now an employee and offers treatments and admin support.

We provide a friendly, supportive learning environment where individuals can work towards qualifications, develop employability skills, and explore training in areas such as beauty therapy and nail services.
