ld like to find out more about how counselling may help you, please email me at: [email protected] to arrange a free initial telephone consultation. I am an experienced and fully insured Person Centred Counsellor accredited in online and telephone counselling who also has experience in other modalities such as CBT so work according to your needs and requirements. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I work within their Ethical Framework and I provide my clients with a caring, safe, empathic space where they can explore whatever difficulties and issues life is bringing, at their own pace and without feeling judged. We all feel nervous and anxious when we first begin counselling but in my experience it is a journey worth investing in and is the ultimate in self care, which is so important with the stresses and strains of modern day life and can lead to a deeper sense of fulfilment and happiness on so many levels. In these times with the rising cost of living I am offering counselling which is affordable, flexible and accessible, so concessions are always available. Please do ask.

World Su***de Prevention Day | Thursday 10 September 2026

Sometimes, the person who says “I’m fine” is the person who needs someone to ask again.

A message. A phone call. A cup of tea. A simple “How are you really doing?”

It might feel like a small thing to you, but to someone who is struggling, it could mean everything.

💬 Start the conversation.
👂 Listen without judgement.
🤝 Stay connected.
💜 Remind someone they are not alone.

You don’t need the perfect words.
You just need to care enough to ask.

This World Su***de Prevention Day, let’s look out for each other. Because every conversation matters. Every person matters. Every life matters. 💛

We are deeply saddened to hear the news that Papyrus is closing. For years, their dedicated team has been a vital lifeline, saving young lives and providing a beacon of hope during the darkest moments. This loss is a devastating reminder of how essential crisis services and immediate support are for mental health.

The sudden insolvency has triggered the immediate closure of the charity's vital services, including HOPELINE247, a round-the-clock lifeline widely relied upon. The closure has also deeply affected the fundraising community, with supporters devastated by this news. Which comes as a stark warning about the fragile nature of funding for charity frontline services.

At Havant and East Hants Mind, we want to remind our community that you do not have to carry your pain alone. While this news leaves a gap in national support, our local commitment to being here for you remains unchanged. Free, accessible, and immediate support saves lives.

Have you heard about our new Autism and ADHD Community Hub?

Established in partnership with Autism Hampshire, this Hub provides a welcoming, identity-affirming environment tailored specifically for neurodivergent adults (aged 18+) across South East Hampshire.

Lived experience is right at the core of our support system, the hub is a trusted space to:
Connect: Meet and share experiences with fellow neurodivergent adults in a safe, peer-led space.
Learn: Discover tailored advice, local guidance, and personal wellbeing techniques.
Grow: Access tools to better understand your strengths, navigate daily challenges, and build our own support circle.

We believe in celebrating neurodiversity, not "fixing" it. Our services are completely free, and you do not need a formal diagnosis to drop in, speak to our team, or use our resources. We listen first and focus on what you need.

Our team is ready to welcome you, with Hub activities in Havant, Leigh Park and Bordon. Call the Team: 02392 498916 or Email the Team: [email protected]
