Don’t like how you look?

Then stop convincing yourself that more training is the answer.

Most people don’t need another workout.

They don’t need more burpees.

They don’t need more cardio.

They need accountability for the other 23 hours of the day.

Your body is a direct reflection of the choices you make when nobody is watching.

The food you eat.
The drinks you choose.
The habits you repeat every single day.

You can’t cheat it.

If you’re fed up with training hard and still not getting the results you want, let us help.

Training is only part of the equation.

We’ll help you take control of the part that actually determines what stares back at you in the mirror.

Drop us a message with the word “RESULTS” and let’s talk.

We didn’t start GFC Athlete because we wanted to write our own programme.

We started it because we’d spent years buying the same product with a different logo on the front.

Every programme promised the same thing: train harder, do more volume, push more intensity and you’ll get better.

So that’s what we did.

For a while it worked. Then came the plateaus, injuries and burnout.

The problem wasn’t effort.

The problem was structure.

Nobody was teaching movement, positions, efficiency or skill development. The answer was always the same: do more work.

So we built GFC Athlete.

A programme designed to develop strength, gymnastics, weightlifting, conditioning and movement quality through structure and progression, not just fatigue.

What started as one programme has grown into Functional Fitness, Weightlifting, Hyrox, Masters, Functional Bodybuilding and more, all under one roof so athletes can train how they want without sacrificing progression.

Now hundreds of athletes are benefiting from it every day, getting stronger, moving better and becoming fitter.

The only thing we’d change is doing it sooner.

STOP IT! YOU DON’T NEED TO BE FITTER

Most people think they need a bigger engine.

What they actually need is less wasted energy.

CrossFit rewards efficiency… until you’re elite, because at that level everyone is efficient.

If you’re constantly redlining, fighting for positions, muscling through gymnastics or making every lift harder than it needs to be, your fitness isn’t the problem.

Your movement is.

The athlete who uses less energy per rep will recover faster, maintain a higher output and ultimately outperform the athlete who is simply fitter.

That’s why our programming isn’t just workouts.

It’s skill development.
It’s progressions.
It’s technical work.
It’s structured training designed to improve how you move, not just how much suffering you can tolerate.

Move better.
Waste less energy.
Get fitter faster.

That’s how real progress is made.

The self doubt never disappears. You just get better at remembering why you started.

People often assume running an online fitness business is all freedom, success and living the dream.

The reality is very different. Most days I question whether I’m doing enough. Whether we’re helping enough people.
Whether we could provide a better service. Whether there is more I could be giving.

When you genuinely care about something, those thoughts never really leave you.

That’s the part people don’t see:
The pressure.
The responsibility.
The fear of letting people down.
The constant desire to improve.

Yesterday reminded me why it’s all worth it.

Watching people hit PBs, achieve skills they’ve been chasing for months and support each other without hesitation reminded me that what we’re building is bigger than fitness.

It’s a community.

A group of people committed to becoming better, supporting each other and showing up day after day.

I walked away from a 25 year career to build something different.

Days like yesterday remind me exactly why.

Yesterday confirmed we need to keep pushing this community forward. To keep improving. To keep raising the standard.
To keep building something that genuinely changes people’s lives.

To every single person who is part of GFC, thank you. 🧡

What a day. 🧡

Another GFC Athlete Day in the books and somehow they just keep getting better.

PBs were hit.
New skills were unlocked.
Confidence grew.

But more than anything, it was the atmosphere that stood out.

A room full of people supporting each other, celebrating each other’s wins and pushing each other to be better.

That’s what makes this community special.

We’re incredibly proud of what GFC has become and more importantly, what it stands for.

Bring on the next one. 🧡

Getting your first pull up, muscle up, handstand walk or double under is only the beginning.

The problem is most people stop practising the skill as soon as they achieve it.

A good programme shouldn’t just help you get your first rep.

It should help you improve it.

That’s why skill primers should be built into your training regularly. Small amounts of focused practice that keep movement patterns sharp, improve technique and build confidence over time.

You don’t develop great gymnastics, weightlifting or movement skills by occasionally testing them.

You develop them by consistently practising them.

If your programme is nothing but strength pieces and workouts, with no dedicated time to refine movement, improve positions and build skill, don’t be surprised when progress stalls.

The athletes who keep improving year after year aren’t always the fittest.

They’re often the ones spending time on the basics and refining the details.

At GFC Athlete, skill development is built into the programme year round. Whether your goal is your first pull up, a bar muscle up, better Olympic lifting or becoming a more complete athlete, every week includes opportunities to develop the skills that actually move you forward.

Most people think good CrossFit athletes are good because they train harder.

They’re not.

They’re good because they do the basics better than everyone else.

They prioritise positions before loading the bar.

They develop technique before chasing bigger gymnastics sets.

They move efficiently before trying to move faster.

They recover properly so they can actually adapt to their training.

The truth is there are no secrets.

The athletes making the biggest improvements are usually the ones doing the boring stuff consistently while everyone else is searching for the next magic programme.

Master the basics.
Repeat them often.
Trust the process.

That’s where progress lives.

The answer is very unlikely to be more!!!!

More sessions.
More volume.
More intensity.
More suffering.

For years, I thought this was the answer!

But over the last 12 months I’ve hit more PBs than I have in years and the biggest change wasn’t training more. It was recovering better.

Better nutrition.
Better sleep.
More structure.
Applying the right intensity to the right sessions.
Actually allowing my body to adapt from the work I was doing.

The reality is simple.

You don’t get fitter from training.

You get fitter from recovering from training.

It’s not just me either. We’ve applied the same principle across the GFC Athlete community and the results are; people getting stronger, fitter and setting PBs because they stopped chasing more and started focusing on doing the basics exceptionally well.

If you’re constantly tired, sore and frustrated with your progress, ask yourself this:

Do you need to do more?

Or do you need to recover better from what you’re already doing?

Every programme we write at GFC Athlete is built around work that you can actually recover from. The goal isn’t to leave you broken after every session. The goal is to keep you progressing week after week, month after month and year after year.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start following a programme designed to help you improve, hit the link in our bio to get started!
