No need to prebook, just turn up on the day between 10am-12pm. We aim to encourage mums and dads that have had babies that received care in the local Neonatal Units hospital to come along and get to know other parents that have been through the sam
e, if not a similar situation. We offer an understanding ear and understand the anxious feeling some parents get from leaving the 'nest' and 'home' that is a Neonatal Unit. Please be assured that the parents that come to the 'Coffee & a Catch Up' group are open, friendly and very welcoming. Lorraine works for the children's charity Ickle Pickles and is the Events Project Manager and Fundraiser and Peer Support member of the team. She is always at the 'Coffee & a Catch Up' group and is there to offer support and guidance to any parents that may wish to get involved with fundraising as well as an ear to listen whilst you are there. As a charity we have lots of events on the go throughout the year. Many parents feel they need to 'give something back' to the hospital that cared for your child. This is where Lorraine comes in.
