Retinol has a reputation problem.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the same things. “It made me peel.” “My skin went red and I had to stop.” “Someone told me I shouldn’t use it in summer.” And almost every single time, the problem wasn’t the retinol. It was how it was introduced.
No one retinol product is the same, and so we can’t treat it like it is. As a skin specialist it’s my job to assess your skin health, introduce you to products suitable for your skin and advise you accordingly. Leading with education.
Retinol is one of the most well-researched skincare ingredients, with decades of clinical evidence. It increases cell turnover, stimulates collagen production, fades pigmentation, clears congestion. It genuinely does what it says it does when it’s used correctly.
If you want to know whether retinol is right for your specific skin and how to introduce it without the drama, that’s exactly what a skin consultation with me covers.
DM me SKIN and let’s talk about it 🤍
