I feel your energy. Your stories. The bodyโ€™s armour. The masks and patterns youโ€™ve learnt as ways to cope.

And I gently set about helping you feel safe enough to put some of that down. To soften. To find a bit of peace in your own body.

Please do let them know about my Pregnancy Yoga classes ๐Ÿค

Theyโ€™re a calm, welcoming space to come each week to relax, ease those pregnancy aches, tune into body and baby, and learn genuinely useful skills for pregnancy, labour and birth โ€” breathing, movement, comfort techniques, and ways to work with your body rather than against it.

But itโ€™s not just about the yoga.

Many women tell me the classes become a real touchstone during pregnancy โ€” a place where they feel understood, reassured, and supported. And the friendships that grow between mums-to-be often last well beyond the babiesโ€™ arrival (playdates, coffee dates, 3am message exchangesโ€ฆ all the important things).

Honestly, at this point itโ€™s becoming slightly difficult to have a baby in Risborough and not know someone whoโ€™s come along ๐Ÿ˜„

โœจ Baby Massage starting next week ๐Ÿค

If you have a newborn โ€” or know someone who does โ€” this is quite simply one of the loveliest things you can do together in those early weeks.

Baby massage isnโ€™t just about learning strokes (though those are wonderful for wind, sleep and settling). Itโ€™s really about slowing everything down, building confidence with your baby, and having a calm, supportive space to just be together.

The class is gentle, unhurried and completely baby-led. Feeding, cuddling, changing, crying, sleeping โ€” all of it is welcome. There is no expectation that babies will โ€œbehave,โ€ and no pressure on you to do anything perfectly.

For many mums it becomes a little weekly anchor โ€” somewhere warm, friendly and reassuring to come when the days can otherwise blur together.

My next course starts next week, and there are a few spaces available.

At this time of year I see so many women holding their breath without even realising it โ€” shoulders up, nervous system on high alert, running on empty.

My seasonal retreats are designed to be the opposite of that.

Theyโ€™re gentle, welcoming, and intentionally un-intimidating. No pressure to share more than you want to, no โ€œperformative wellness,โ€ no expectation that you arrive calm or zen. You come exactly as you are.

We use simple, supportive practices โ€” gentle movement, rest, guided relaxation, quiet reflection โ€” all designed to help your nervous system settle into real, deep rest.

My womenโ€™s work began right here โ€” supporting new mums and babies as they find their feet together. And while I now also see women at all life stages (in my Seomra for massage, and through my seasonal retreats), my love for this early motherhood work โ€” and my belief in how important it is โ€” stays really strong.

There is something deeply sacred about those first weeks and months. The tiredness. The softness. The huge inner shifts no one really prepares you for.

Yes. And this weekend absolutely hit like this.

I had the loveliest reunion with my uni girls โ€” laughter, long walks, deep chats, and the soul-soothing feeling of being known again. ๐Ÿค

And then I came homeโ€ฆ grateful, but weirdly wobbly. Not because anything is wrong. But I guess because some processing was needed.

For some of us, time isnโ€™t linear - itโ€™s layered. All the women youโ€™ve been still feel close. And when you sit with old friends, reminiscing and reliving, itโ€™s like holding the whole timeline in your hands at once.

This weekโ€™s weather was a perfect match for my nervous systemโ€™s behaviour ๐Ÿ˜…

The build.
The anticipation.
The bracing for the snowstormโ€ฆ

โ€ฆand then it basically didnโ€™t happen.

Classic.

This is what a high-alert nervous system does.
It prepares. It scans. It braces.
It tries to protect by predicting.

Even when the โ€œstormโ€ never arrives.

But: one unexpected upside of a nervous system that feels everything deeplyโ€ฆ is that it also doesnโ€™t miss the beauty.

And what a showstopper of a week this was.
Sunrise after sunrise. White fields and hills all round. Awe on tap.

Maybe thatโ€™s the real regulation sometimes โ€”
not forcing calm, but letting beauty interrupt the bracing.
