Do you have MS and would you like to help your family and children understand more about the condition?

On Saturday 3 October, we will be running a special Digesting Science event at the Centre alongside the MS Society and MS nurses from the Royal Berkshire Hospital RBH MS community

It will be a free interactive afternoon of games and activities suitable for ages 6-14, aimed at bringing families together to learn about MS in a fun and engaging way.

The Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) is a way of measuring how much someone is affected by their MS. You might hear your neurologist talk about it or see it mentioned in reports on trials of MS drugs.

Fampridine is not currently on our formulary, so we are unable to prescribe it at this time.
We are in the process of completing the necessary paperwork to add this medication to our formulary. In the meantime , please refer to the eligibility criteria for Fampridine which can be found on the ms society’s website.

We will keep you updated on our progress and let you know as soon as we are able to start prescribing it .
