Yoga directly counters overwhelm by shifting your nervous system out of "fight-or-flight" and into "rest-and-digest".
Experience your nervous system turning the noise of the outside world down with a mix of intentional breathing and mindful movement. Yoga lowers stress hormones, releases built-up physical tension, and anchors your focus to the present moment.

Have you had a long week?
Feel like you need some “me time” to move your body and relax into meditation?
Vinyasa yoga is for you!
We in society have become so used to the busyness of life and the chaos that comes with it. Life is stressful but it can also be really beautiful and quiet if you know how!
Vinyasa yoga consists of dynamic movement flowing between each pose using our breath to calm our nervous system and prepare for meditation.
“What does your classes look like”
•It’s a buzzer door entry into the studio
•We start with some random chat getting to be comfortable with eachother
•I will have set out some props for you, find a spot and set your mat up!
•I will then explain abit about vinyasa yoga and that there’s no pressure to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with.
•We usually start with some light stretching using our yoga straps
•We then start every flow with Surya Namaskar A (sun salutation A) this is our warm up
•Then we go into the main part of the class, this movement can be slightly challenging although still beginner friendly
•Once our flow is finished I will invite you to lie down on your mat using props if you’d like into our savasana meditation
•After our meditation I always give thanks to my students for showing up for themselves and eachother!
•Then we say goodbye and do it all again in the next class!
Does this sound like something you would enjoy?
