Time blindness and time management are related, but they’re not the same thing. Many people with ADHD struggle to accurately sense the passing of time or estimate how long something will take — often without realising that others experience time differently.

This can make being on time incredibly difficult and, from the outside, can look like you simply don’t care.

This is something I work on with many of my clients: understanding what’s actually going on and finding practical ways to make time easier to manage.

If this resonates with you and you’d like some support, get in touch!

The guilt of saying no to others or looking after yourself can sometimes feel too much. I often have to strongly suggest to my clients that they need a break. Before they exhaust themselves. Before they burnout, before they take on another project and spread themselves too thin. Self care is about being responsible for your wellbeing. If you needed a sign to look after yourself this week, here it is. You're welcome!!!

I say to my clients: "It's easier to prevent a burnout than get over one" - and I really believe in that statement.

Often we feel like we have to keep going, push through or that we can't sit still. Success is measured in being productive, discounting ourselves for the benefit of others and being emotionally strong. It's exhausting.

Instead, try seeing rest time as a necessity, not a luxury and you'll notice the difference. It's a tweak that's worth it :)

It’s been a busy week so far in my very hot office!! This has been the best suggestion from a friend, alongside my trusty fan! Adding ice after each session was a must!!

Next week will be cooler and even busier, I want to say thank you to all my clients for keeping to their session times and working so hard in crazy hot conditions.

ADHD brains are brilliant at noticing what’s NOT done.

Let’s try something different.

Today, what DID you do?
✔️ got out of bed
✔️ replied to a message
✔️ made a call
✔️ showed up to work
✔️ drank water

These things count.

Progress builds confidence. Confidence builds momentum. Tiny wins matter more than you think...

You are not lazy.

You are likely:

• overwhelmed
• mentally exhausted
• trying to hold too many things at once
• stuck in a cycle of starting/stopping

Most people with ADHD have spent YEARS being told: “just try harder”

When actually…they’ve been trying harder than most.

What you need isn’t more pressure. It’s better support.

Feeling 50:50 about ADHD coaching? That happens....

Sometimes asking for, or committing to support feels overwhelming - especially when you’re already juggling stress, overwhelm, emotional regulation, routines, procrastination or burnout.

That’s why I’ve created a new 50:50 Session
50 minutes | £50

A low-pressure first step to explore what’s going on, ask questions and see whether coaching feels right for you — with no expectation to continue afterwards.

Support. Clarity. A place to start.

Have you ever noticed…

you can get SO much more done when someone else is there?

Even if they’re not helping you.

Even if they’re just sitting quietly.

That’s called body doubling, and it’s one of the simplest, most effective ADHD tools.

It works because:

• it reduces avoidance
• it creates gentle accountability
• it helps your brain “stay with” the task

A lot of my clients find this game-changing.

I’m working on something behind the scenes at the moment that includes this…

so watch this space! Enjoy the weekend, it's almost here!!

ADHD brain is:

“I’ll just sit down for 5 minutes…”

→ 2 hours later
→14 tabs open
→ halfway through 3 different tasks
→forgot what the original task was

BUT…
you did learn something random, reorganise a drawer and reply to one message

So… progress?

Honestly though, this is why having structure around your time can be so powerful.

Not rigid. Not strict.
Just… supportive.

Because your brain isn’t broken.

It just works differently.
