The beam Annual Forum 2026 is officially complete, and what an event it was.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Annual Forum. We heard inspiring speakers, shared ideas, made new connections and, most importantly, built momentum together.

A special thank you to Steve Jones, Chief Executive of Wyboston Lakes Resort, for welcoming delegates before our official opening by Mohammad Yasin MP.

Our opening keynote from Laura Kennington set the tone perfectly, encouraging us all to stop waiting for the right moment and create our own momentum.

Throughout the day delegates enjoyed breakout sessions with Laura Cresswell (Cvent) and Jason Gutteridge (Venue Directory) exploring the opportunities AI presents for our sector, Matt Grey (eventdecision ยฎ) challenging our thinking around social value, and Camilla Sheelley helping everyone pause and recharge with a wellbeing session.

The afternoon saw Louisa Watson chair our One Industry, One Voice โ€“ What's Next? panel with Robert Wright (The Business of Events), Douglas O'Neill (The BTA), Shonali Devereaux (Meetings Industry Association), Paul Black and David Tremmil (beam), highlighting the importance of continuing to work together to strengthen the voice of our industry.

After an energiser from KDM Events, Julie Shorrock and Linden Beattie led an inspiring session on attracting and developing future talent.

Our conference concluded with a brilliant keynote from Nick Saunders, reminding us how small changes in behaviour can make a big difference to the relationships we build every day.

The learning continued into the evening with our Ibiza-themed networking event, proving once again that one of the greatest strengths of our industry is the people within it.

Congratulations to everyone who braved this morning's wild swim! ๐Ÿ‘

A huge thank you to our sponsors Just Smile Events , Cvent, KDM Events Ltd , Speakers Corner, The WOW Bus Bottleproof Cocktails Ltd, Dead Man's Fingers, Whitley Neill Gin, LWC Drinks , Paddy & Scott's Coffee , JJ Family Distillers and C/O Mr & Mrs Grey , and of course the entire team at Wyboston Lakes C&T for their fantastic hospitality.

A moment for the deck chairs in the glorious weather! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Here are just some of the amazing staff within the St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals who enjoyed the weather and outside space โœŒ๐Ÿป

The deck chairs used are great in the summer time utilising outside space (where permitted and safe to do so) with the awning out, to provide shade and comfort for our visitors. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฉต
