What a wonderful day we had here at The Priory! 🏡 we had a little helper refilling our bird feeders helping Joyce and Neil… Joyce didn’t like the smell of the dried meal worms 🪱 Neil pointed out that our climber plants are blooming very well 🌺 And we had the fantastic Amie helping us with all bits and bobs with the activities today 👧 A massive thank you to young Wesley and Amie for all of your hard work today, I know myself and the residents thoroughly enjoyed your company

We then explored the song Minnie the Moocher sung by Cab Calloway! Watching him on our magic table really brought his performance 🎭 into the home 🏠

Followed by a Memory Jar game where we all explored our memories all to do with the sea 🌊 side 🐚

Today we have had lots of different things happening… from Donna the hairdresser 💇‍♀️ coming and making everyone feel fabulous to a lovely stroll 🦽 🚶 around the garden 🪴 with Neil to manicures at Charlene’s Nail station 💅

Here at The Priory we now have a new notice board called “you said, we did”

Together myself and the residents discussed areas or things that they would like to see more of or for things to happen during our latest Residents Meeting 📅 📝 💭 🗣️

These meetings are a great way to discover how we are doing. This notice board is located in the dining area by the main office door. Keep your eyes out for any updates as things progress ✅

We don’t just hold residents meetings we also hold regular family meetings, this is also a fantastic way to explore how we are doing to support your loved ones, please ask if you would like to see upcoming dates of these 👀

Please purchase your tickets 🎟️ from the main office of the Home or you can purchase these on the day

If anyone is looking 👀 at the possibility of having one of our tables to either advertise/sell or promote their own small business we are also accommodating so please do contact us regarding this. We already have one person who has taken this opportunity 😊

Not forgetting that all proceeds go back into organising much more events and fun for the residents at The Priory Care, let’s all make this day fun and memorable for everyone 🏰 🏡

Happy Monday from everyone here at The Priory

We all hope you all had a wonderful weekend and we would like to congratulate Spain 🇪🇸 on wining the FIFA World Cup of 2026 🏆 (although we all wished it was England 😂)
