🤔💭 An email landed in my inbox this morning that I couldn’t ignore -,so I turned it into a blog post instead.

New data from Pesticide Action Network UK reveals that glyphosate use on UK crops has increased by 1,000% since 1990.

It’s now being found in nearly a third of UK bread samples, and the practice that causes it - spraying wheat with weedkiller just before harvest is still legal here, even though the EU banned it in 2023.

I understand why farmers use it. The pressure to increase yields is real, but the health evidence is impossible to ignore - links to cancer, hormonal disruption, and particular risks for children and pregnant women.

In the blog I cover what this means for you, why the government’s safety testing misses a crucial piece of the picture, and one surprisingly effective trick involving a box of bicarbonate of soda that the research actually backs up.

Link in comments below.

Have you thought much about pesticide exposure before, or is this new territory for you?

I’d love to hear from you in the comment…

Sarcopenia, neck pain, and “text neck” are becoming more common as our bodies adapt to modern habits. Strength loss, posture strain, and long hours on screens can add up—often quietly, until the discomfort speaks louder than we expect. Awareness is the first step toward protecting our muscles, joints, and long‑term mobility.

Drop a comment if you’ve felt any of these signs, and share this post to help someone who might be dealing with them too.

Just as photobiomodulation shows promise as part of a comprehensive protocol, sound stimulation may be an effective adjunctive treatment too. In a recent study, researchers played a steady 40 hertz hum for one hour every day for a week and found higher levels of β-amyloid in the cerebrospinal fluid of the test subjects (likely indicating clearance from the brain). https://www.sciencefocus.com/news/sound-treatment-alzheimers-study

🤔... This is thought provoking......

The PubMed article published in 2019 - 2 years after their MMT trial states-

"Many studies have reported abnormal gut microbiota in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), suggesting a link between gut microbiome and autism-like behaviors. Modifying the gut microbiome is a potential route to improve gastrointestinal (GI) and behavioral symptoms in children with ASD, and f***l microbiota transplant could transform the dysbiotic gut microbiome toward a healthy one by delivering a large number of commensal microbes from a healthy donor. We previously performed an open-label trial of Microbiota Transfer Therapy (MTT) that combined antibiotics, a bowel cleanse, a stomach-acid suppressant, and f***l microbiota transplant, and observed significant improvements in GI symptoms, autism-related symptoms, and gut microbiota. Here, we report on a follow-up with the same 18 participants two years after treatment was completed. Notably, most improvements in GI symptoms were maintained, and autism-related symptoms improved even more after the end of treatment. Important changes in gut microbiota at the end of treatment remained at follow-up, including significant increases in bacterial diversity and relative abundances of Bifidobacteria and Prevotella. Our observations demonstrate the long-term safety and efficacy of MTT as a potential therapy to treat children with ASD who have GI problems, and warrant a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in the future."

With so much focus on the gut microbiome in general health - could dietary changes help with Autism?.....

In the UK we rarely speak about preventing Alzheimer’s - let alone reversing it!

Your body is a complex piece of kit and it needs a multi faceted approach to prevent and maintain good cognitive health.

If you’re in the UK and are concerned about your cognitive health or that of a loved one - I urge you to keep an open mind and read up on protocols such as ReCODE. 🧠

This is an important chart from our recent preprint of the Evanthea trial, which was based on ReCODE. You don’t need to accept the standard of care or settle for a reduced rate of decline - it is possible to reverse the symptoms of Alzheimer’s. Learn more about the trial: https://www.apollohealthco.com/evanthea-trial/

Love this. This is why at 54 I started a protocol to prevent Alzheimer’s (due to genetic risk) - but one year later, I’m also working on my overall health as it’s all linked! Food is medicine 🪴🧄

Send this to someone you’re on your health journey with.

Every meal, every workout, every night’s sleep—it’s all building the future you. What you do now, in your 20s, 30s, and even 50s, shapes the health you’ll experience in the decades to come.

To understand why the choices you make today impact your future health, consider this: chronic disease and mobility loss are rooted in long-term, silent processes. Inflammation, poor diet, stress, and lack of exercise can slowly damage your cells, arteries, and brain, starting decades before symptoms appear.

These conditions are not random—they develop over time based on lifestyle factors. Every healthy choice you make now can slow or even prevent these processes. It’s all connected.

It’s never too late—or too soon—to start living well.

Unlike the other senses, the olfactory system connects to the hippocampus, a memory hub, and so olfactory stimulation can profoundly improve memory - and even other brain functions according to research. Those who regularly stimulate their olfactory sense, such as sommeliers, have cognitive benefits similar to those experienced by the London Taxi Drivers, who are forced to exercise their brains without GPS. 🥶☃️Winter Doesn’t Have to Mean Hitting ‘Pause’ on Your Health…

When the mornings are dark and the air is crisp, our natural instinct is to hibernate, but for those of us navigating chronic illness or working toward longevity, winter is actually the most important time to stay intentional.

Here are 7 ways to stay motivated and thrive this season. 👇

1. Start with your ‘Why’ - When it’s cold, ‘wanting to look good’ isn’t enough to get you out of bed. Think deeper. Are you doing this to have more energy for your kids? When your ‘Why’ is strong, the weather becomes irrelevant.

2. Master the Art of the ‘Small Swaps’ - Swap salads for a nourishing, blended vegetable soup. If an outdoor walk feels too daunting, swap it for 15 minutes of yoga in your living room.

3. Recruit a Buddy - Accountability is the secret sauce of consistency. It’s much harder to cancel a workout when someone is waiting for you.

4. Visualise Your Success - Take a moment each morning to picture your goals as already achieved.

5. Consistency Over Perfection (The 90/10 Rule) - Perfection is the enemy of progress. It is impossible to be 100% ‘on it’ all the time, especially during winter. Aim for the 90/10 rule… Consistency is what builds health, perfection just builds stress & failure.

6. Celebrate Every Win - Don’t wait until you’ve reached the ‘finish line’ to be proud of yourself. Celebrate the small milestones. Treat yourself to a spa day, a new book, or a relaxing bath.

7. Log Your Progress - In the middle of a health journey, it’s easy to feel like nothing is changing, but when you log your progress, seeing those small improvements on paper (or an app) provides a massive boost to your confidence.

Which one of the 7 tips will you try today? Tell me in the comments 👇⭐️💫
