It's easy to look at someone and only see what they're going through.
The stress
The illness
The worries
The mistakes they've made.
But underneath all of that, they are still the same person.
Sometimes they just need a little more patience.
A little more understanding.
A little more kindness.
The same is true when we look in the mirror.
Don't let one difficult day convince you that you've changed into someone less worthy of love or compassion.
You are still you, perhaps just a slightly different version today and that's ok.
Dont let just one chapter become your whole book

Have you ever noticed how easily we make time for everyone else?
We'll sit with a friend who's having a difficult day.
We'll help a neighbour and drop everything for family but when it comes to ourselves we often say "I'll do it another day" The trouble is, another day has a habit of never arriving. Looking after yourself is not something you have to earn. You don't need permission to rest, you don't need to feel guilty for taking an hour to recharge. When you take care of yourself, you have so much more to give to the people you love.
So this week....
Be as kind to yourself as you are to everyone else because everyone deserves a little Thyme. 🌿💚

We spend so much of our lives looking after everyone else.
Our family. Our friends. Our work.
Sometimes we become so busy taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves.
Giving yourself a little Thyme isn't selfish...
It's the chance to stop, breathe and recharge.
Whether that's sitting quietly in the garden with a cuppa, reading a few pages of a book, taking a walk or treating yourself to a relaxing therapy...
Remember...
You are worth the time.
