โ ๏ธ Important Notice to Parents โ ๏ธ
We have been made aware that a child who attended Wiggle & Giggle on Friday is now displaying symptoms of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease.
As always, we want to keep our families informed. Whilst we have robust cleaning and hygiene procedures in place throughout the centre, illnesses such as Hand, Foot and Mouth can sometimes be unavoidable. Symptoms can take several days to develop, meaning parents may not always be aware that their child is carrying the virus when attending.
We kindly ask parents to keep an eye out for any symptoms, including:
โข A high temperature
โข A sore throat
โข Loss of appetite
โข Small blisters on the hands, feet, or around the mouth
We would also respectfully ask that if your child is unwell, showing symptoms of illness, or generally not feeling themselves, please avoid bringing them to the centre until they are feeling better. This helps us protect other children, families, and our team, and reduces the spread of illness within our community.
