Another week has flown by!

It’s been another enjoyable week supporting my wonderful regular clients with a mixture of personal care, companionship, home help, and social outings. Every day is different, and that’s one of the things I love most about what I do.

I’m also providing some additional hours again this weekend to make sure my clients have the support they need when they need it most.

This week, I also had the pleasure of meeting another lovely carer, and I’m hoping we’ll be able to collaborate to offer even more flexible 7-day care and support in the future. 🥰

Ive had a lovely lunch at the garden centre today with one of my lovely clients. 🌼

We enjoyed some good food, a chat, and a wander around the plants and displays. It’s always nice to get out and about, and these little trips can make such a positive difference to someone’s day, including mine 🥰

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself.

My name is Emma, and I run Your Bubble – Home care service.

I provide friendly, reliable home care and companionship services across Sawley, Long Eaton, Breaston, Castle Donington and the surrounding areas. Whether it’s help around the home, support with shopping and appointments, companionship, or simply providing reassurance for families with regular check ins, my aim is always the same – helping people stay comfortable, independent, and happy in their own homes.

As a small, independent service, I can offer a personal approach where clients aren’t just another name on a rota. Building genuine relationships and providing care with dignity, respect, and kindness is at the heart of everything I do.

Starting Your Bubble was about creating the kind of service I would want for my own loved ones, dependable, compassionate, and centred around the individual.

When it comes to home care, many people are told that services must be arranged through Social Services, the GP, or the council. While that’s often the starting point, it’s important to know that you have a choice about who provides your care.

For some, traditional care agencies don’t feel like the right fit — with different carers arriving at different times, it can feel inconsistent and impersonal.

As a Personal Assistant - founder of Your Bubble – Caring for You at Home, I offer a more personal, reliable alternative. I support both private clients and those whose care is funded or part funded by the council or Social Services across Sawley, Long Eaton, Breaston, and Castle Donington.

This means you can still receive funded care, but with:

✨ Support at times that suit you — not a rigid schedule
✨ Care delivered with dignity, patience, and genuine respect

Another wonderful week of social calls and outings… and I’ve definitely eaten well 😅🍰

This week I enjoyed a lovely breakfast out with one of my regulars, something we do together every week, a coffee in the sunshine whilst out grocery shopping, a weekly two hour social call, this week we took a trip to the farm, and a little ice cream in the sunshine ☀️🍦 after picking up one of my care home clients. It’s not about just looking after people at home, it’s about getting people out, and supporting them to do the things that matter to them.

Three of these lovely clients have actually been with me since I first started Your Bubble, 19 months ago now 🥰 this makes it all feel really special 🤍
